INNEO, SAFETY AND COMFORT FOR THE CITIES OF THE FUTURE

Inneo is CAF´s range of metro units, equipped with the latest technological advances in terms of safety, performance and comfort.

The modular nature of the Inneo range allows for precise adaptability to the needs of each operator in terms of passenger capacity. Layouts vary from 2 to 9 cars; also, it is possible to couple several units and to increase or reduce the number of cars as well.


FLEXIBLE CONFIGURATION

DESIGN AND ON-BOARD COMFORT

The Inneo range of metro units presents an avant-garde and functional design. CAF starts from each city's distinctive features and applies its traits to the design of its metro units (shape and colours).

The comfort of passengers is the starting point in the Inneo design. CAF metro units offer wide areas and see-through gangways for greater passenger comfort and distribution.

The units can be equipped with reserved areas for bikes, suitcases and prams. They are the ideal option for passengers that wish to take their belongings with them.

TOP SAFETY STANDARDS

Inneo units may be equipped with laser-ready smoke detection systems as well as fire extinguishing systems using nebulised water. They can also incorporate photoluminescent emergency signs and lighting and their doors have been prepared for emergency evacuation. Additionally, they can be equipped with derailment detection technology.

Other safety systems include: black box; voice and data train-land communication via radiotelephone through TETRA system; computerised unit monitoring and control; and alarm intercommunication systems between the passengers and the driver. It is also possible to install cameras at the car ends to record on-track images.

Lastly, CCTV and video surveillance systems allow the driver to always know what is happening in the passenger area.
