REGIONAL TRAIN SARDINIA

The Regione Autonoma della Sardegna has contracted CAF to manufacture regional trains that will provide service on the line that joins the cities of Sassari and Cagliari.

These diesel trains are made up of 3 or 5 cars and have SIBI active tilting technology. This system enables the trains to run at higher speeds on curves of the route, and ensures higher passenger comfort at the same time.
