HIGH SPEED TRAIN ANKARA-ISTANBUL

In 2005, TCDD ordered CAF to produce 10 high speed trains to connect the Turkish cities of Ankara and Istambul.

Subsequently, an additional 2 units were ordered with the same characteristics. These units are made up of 6 cars, which can be up extended to 8 cars, adding 2 additional intermediate cars.

The unit can also be coupled with another to make up a twelve car train.

The first deliveries were made in 2007.

These units cover a route of over 600 Km in less than 3 hours.
