METRO SANTIAGO DE CHILE LINES 1 AND 5 (NEU)

In 2007, CAF was awarded the contract for the supply of 20 trains with 9 cars for the Santiago de Chile Metro. These are pneumatic rolling gear units allowing for travel on steep sections as well as providing improved speed and acceleration performance. 

Metro de Santiago purchased an additional 14 units, also made up of 9 cars. The units in the first contract were delivered between 2009 and 2010.
