AURIGA: ERTMS LEVEL 1 AND LEVEL 2
CAF Signalling has its own AURIGA integral solution for the European Rail Traffic Manangement System (ERTMS).
AURIGA ensures high performance ERTMS solutions both for Level 1 (AURIGA L1) and Level 2 (AURIGA L2) as well as mixed systems where both levels coexist simultaneously, ensuring interoperability (technical and functional), and it contributes significant benefits to the operating and maintenance areas.
The AURIGA systems are approved and certified by Certification Bodies and proved in the field. They comply with the functional requirements of the ERTMS/ETCS (FRS) system, Technical Specifications for Interoperability (TSI), the ERTMS/ETCS (SRS) System Requirement Specifications, and the specifications defined by the UNISIG standard.
Furthermore, CAF Signalling offers its integral onboard system platform AURIGA OBS /on-board system), a compact and modular solution for Levels 1 and 2 of ETCS (European Train Control System). It is an optimized solution that allows interoperability beyond borders, compatible with other manufacturers’ ETCS systems.
