CAF SECURES TWO SERVICE CONTRACTS IN SWEDEN

National rail transport operator, SJ AB has awarded EuroMaint Rail AB, a Swedish subsidiary of the CAF Group, two service contracts worth more than €100 million in total.

CAF launches its new CAF Startup Station unit

The CAF Group has launched the CAF Startup Station. This is the new Venture Client unit designed for partnering with top tier startups with relevant and innovative solutions in the rail and bus sectors. The main goal of this unit will be to build and consolidate client-supplier relationships between the various startups and the CAF Group.

CAF SELECTED AS THE PREFERRED BIDDER FOR THE VRR NIEDERRHEIN-MÜNSTERLAND PROJECT IN THE NORTH RHINE-WESTPHALIA STATE OF GERMANY

Please find attached a document issued by the German transport authorities, ZV VRR (Zweckverband Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr) and NWL (Zweckverband Nahverkehr Westfalen-Lippe) - transport operators in the North Rhine-Westphalia state - regarding the selection of CAF to supply 63 battery-powered trains (LTO), and to render maintenance services for the fleet for a term of 30 years.

NEW MAJOR CONTRACT OF THE CAF GROUP SUBSIDIARY SOLARIS IN SPAIN TO SUPPLY HYBRID BUSES FOR BARCELONA

The urban operator Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) has awarded the CAF Group subsidiary a contract to supply 30 Urbino 12 hybrid buses to expand the fleet of vehicles operating in the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona (by AMB) and adding to the almost one hundred Solaris buses currently in operation in Barcelona and its surrounding areas.

DE LIJN (BELGIUM) AND TRANSPORT FOR NEW SOUTH WALES (AUSTRALIA) RENEW THEIR TRUST IN CAF BY EXTENDING THEIR TRAM SUPPLY CONTRACTS

The CAF Group has again earned the trust of two customers which are benchmark companies in their countries, having secured tram supply extension contracts in Belgium and Australia. In spite of being so far away from each other geographically, these two countries are extremely demanding in terms of their transport service investment policies.

CAF CONCLUDES TWO NEW CONTRACTS IN GERMANY

The CAF Group has secured both contracts on the German market. Firstly, it has entered into a contract with the operator Ruhrbahn GmbH to supply 51 LRVs, which will serve the cities of Essen and Mülheim an der Ruhr. Secondly, the company has won an extension of eight additional trams for the city of Freiburg. Both contracts amount to a figure of almost €200 M.

THE CAF GROUP’s SUBSIDIARY SOLARIS TO SUPPLY HYDROGEN BUSES FOR THE GERMAN CITY OF FRANKFURT

Featuring cutting-edge technology for zero emission transport, Solaris' hydrogen buses are winning the European market over. In this specific case, the German operator In-der-City-Bus, which manages Frankfurt's public transport system, has decided to purchase 13 Urbino 12 hydrogen buses, scheduled for delivery in 2022.
