The testing phase in the Spanish tracks has started with the first test run on the Zaragoza-Canfranc line, in the Aragonese Pyrenees and it will continue on lines in Madrid and Galicia. - The FCH2Rail project is developed by a consortium made up of CAF, DLR, Toyota, Renfe, Adif, CNH2, IP and Stemmann-Technik with a budget of 14 million euros.

CAF will participate at the Middle East Rail exhibition which will take place in Abu Dhabi on 15 and 16 May. The event will be held in association with Etihad Rail and has become one of the most important rail conventions in the Middle East.

The German operator, Rebus Regionalbus Rostock, based in Güstrow and responsible for the management of the public transport service in the region of Rostock in northern Germany, has concluded an agreement with Solaris for the supply of 52 Solaris Urbino hydrogen buses, 5 of which are 18-metre articulated vehicles. This is the largest contract obtained by Solaris to date for hydrogen-powered vehicles, making this contract award a particularly significant event.

RENFE has reported that its Board of Directors has placed an order with CAF for the supply of 29 commuter trains. The contract, which also includes the supply of the relevant depot parts, is worth almost €200 million and includes eventual options to extend its scope in the future, including the manufacture of an additional 9 complete trains, and additional cars that can be used to extend the units in the base contract.

CAF will take part in the UITP Global Public Transport Summit in Barcelona Sporting the slogan, "Bright Light of the City", this event will consist of a congress and trade fair combined format. This is a rendezvous for major public transport operators, manufacturers and other companies operating in the sector.

The CAF Group has won two new orders to supply Urbos platform trams for a combined value of over €100 million. On the one hand, it will supply 31 units to the operator BKK (Budapesti Közlekedési Központ) in Budapest, and on the other, it will supply 6 trams to the Seville town of Alcalá de Guadaíra.
