CAF SELECTED BY THE BRITISH OPERATOR LONDON NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY TO SUPPLY FIRST TRI-MODE UK INTERCITY FLEET
The operator London North Eastern Railway (LNER) has selected CAF as the preferred bidder for the project to supply 10 tri-mode trains, i.e. they can operate in electric, diesel or battery mode, whereby they are extremely versatile units given their capacity to operate with different drive technologies. The project also includes the maintenance services for these units for 8 years. The value of this operation exceeds €500 million, this amount includes both the cost of purchase for the trains by Porterbroo

CAF AT THE AUSRAIL PLUS FAIR IN SYDNEY
CAF to take part in the AusRail Plus conference from 14 to 16 November, in the city of Sydney. The event is the most important railway fair in the Oceania region.

CAF TO TAKE PART IN VARIOUS RAILWAY exhibitions IN THE UNITED STATES, SWEDEN AND FRANCE IN OCTOBER
CAF will be attending the APTA EXPO, Nordic Rail and Rencontres Nationales du Transport Public exhibitions in the United States, Sweden and France respectively. The company, currently working on projects in all three countries, will showcase its latest sustainable transport solutions at the aforementioned events.

CAF TO TAKE PART IN THE TRANSMEA FAIR IN CAIRO
CAF will exhibit at the next edition of the TransMEA fair, which will take place in Cairo from 5 to 8 November. This is Egypt's most prestigious transport fair.

SWEDEN PROCURES SOLARIS ELECTRIC INTERCITY BUSES
The Swedish public transport operator Nobina Stockholm, has concluded a contract with Solaris for the supply of up to 55 Urbino 15 LE electric buses. These are class II vehicles, i.e. intercity, and can therefore run on the various suburban routes in the Stockholm region. These buses are scheduled to be delivered in 2024.

SUPPLY OF MORE THAN 200 HYDROGEN BUSES AWARDED TO SOLARIS
September got off to a particularly strong start, with Solaris securing major contracts to supply hydrogen buses to the Italian cities of Bologna and Venice, as well as to Cologne in Germany. The total value of these projects amounts to approximately €150 million, which could increase further still if the extensions provided for in these projects are ultimately made use of.
