Design of the first, life size VIRTUAL TRAIN
The CAF technical office, in collaboration with the Higher Polytechnic Centre’s Advanced Graphic Computing Group at the University of Zaragoza has designed a virtual mock-up which for the first time recreates a life size train in three dimensions. This project was carried out for the new SUBURBAN TRAINS. CAF and RENFE will in this way be able to check what future trains will be like without needing to construct prototypes, the usual procedure up to now, and which could be replaced by these new virtual mock-ups.
