JOSÉ MARÍA BAZTARRICA HANDS OVER THE CAF CHAIRMANSHIP TO ANDRÉS ARIZKORRETA

• CAF's Executive Chairman, José María Baztarrica, has today submitted his voluntary resignation to the Board of Directors.

• The Board thanked José María Baztarrica for his decisive contribution to CAF's development and growth, and has unanimously appointed him as Honorary Chairman of the Company.

• Andrés Arizkorreta has been unanimously appointed as new Executive Chairman.

Following José María Baztarrica's voluntary resignation, which has been announced today, the Board of Directors of Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles (CAF) has held a regular meeting to unanimously approve the appointment of Andrés Arizkorreta, previously Managing Director, as the new Chairman and Chief Executive of the Company.
