In the “Energy Efficiency Strategic Programme””, the company’s main objectives are the promotion of renewable energy, saving on energy consumption from their activities and the increase in environmental policies in the company and in all the rail networks where they operate and collaborate.

The CAF facilities include systems to make the most of the natural resources and the advantages of renewable energy, a clean and ecological technology.
The first objectives of the company are to increase the volume of renewable energies in the operation of the factories and facilities. The search is on for new land to make the most of the available resources and space.

4. The efficient use of energy resources
As well as using solar panels to generate electricity, CAF shall use energy use reduction measures at their facilities, during the production processes. For optimum procurement of their objectives, periodic assessment systems shall be used which analyse the progressive results of the company’s energy efficiency policy.
CAF also collaborates with rail administrations and organisations to develop now transport projects improving the environment in each community and providing sustainable transport solutions.
