1. UNIVERSITY GRADUATES
Within this group, the engineers make up the highest percentage of new hires, since CAF develops its own technology for a technically complex product.
Within this group we hire Technical and Design Engineers of different specialities (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial Design, Materials, Production, Telecommunications, Chemistry).These employees are usually placed in the following areas: Engineering-Research, Purchasing, Quality, Planning, Production, Guarantee and Maintenance.On a less frequent basis we hire University Graduates with training in Business Management-Administration, Economics, Law, Psychology, Medicine, Chemistry...
2. TRAINING CURRICULUM - PROFESSIONAL TRAINING
Within this group employment concentrates on the areas of Administration, Design-Draughting, Mechanical Fabrication, Electrical Installations, Assembly, Painting, Welding and Joining Technologies.
The highest demand is for Graduate Technicians (Tecnicos Superiores) in the Mechanical Fabrication, Electrical-Electronics, Maintenance and Administration areas. Occasionally Middle Graduates (Grado Medio) are hired (and even certain individuals with less educational training but with proven experience).
As well as fulfilling the training requirements, there are Professional Examinations prior to participating in the Selection Processes. These provide us with a tool to assess the technical potential of the candidates. We also hold personal interviews in order to evaluate if the candidate satisfies the desired requirements for the correct performance in the Job Position.

THE BEASAIN AND IRÚN PLANTS:
To take part in the Selection Processes in the Beasain and Irún plants you must reply to our Advertisements (most typical sources: www.caf.trabajos.com and newspapers) for career opportunities, where you are invited to take part in the Professional Exam relating to each Job Position.
THE ZARAGOZA PLANT
To take part in the Selection Processes in the Zaragoza plant you must reply to our Advertisements (most typical sources: Heraldo de Aragón) for career opportunities, where you are invited to take part in the Professional Exam relating to each Job Position. Some of these processes involve a Professional Test Stage (e.g.: welding, painting, drafting...).
We handle all requests directly creating a candidates' Data Base, which is used whenever CAF is looking to hire personnel.
INTERNATIONAL
Although we transfer certain employees from the Irún, Basain and Zaragoza plants to international locations, when we need to hire local professional staff we publish advertisements in the Employment Websites and most read Newspapers in the areas where the Project is being executed.
