CAF’s factory in Zaragoza
CAF's factory in Zaragoza produces different types of rolling stock in a similar way to Beasain, with the exception of locomotives, trucks, axles and wheels.
This factory has a similar production capacity as the one in Beasain, although it is somewhat more specialized in Metro units train production. This plant has manufactured Madrid 's Metro Units Trains from its first series, as well as the current fleet of new trains for Barcelona 's Metro units. The production processes are identical in both factories.
The plants of Beasain and Zaragoza are completely synchronized in relation to materials management and have fully integrated information systems.
