The AVI-2015 project is included in the CENIT Programme (National Strategic Consortiums of Technical Research) within the Ingenio 2010 initiative of the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce, aimed at promoting public – private cooperation in RDI.
In this project, CAF heads a consortium made up of 6 companies who target their technological development efforts to research in technologies favouring high speed interoperability between tracks with different signalling systems, power supplies and gauges.
