The complexity of the technological processes and products at CAF favor the creation of a department to research the behavior of CAF products. This department performs researchh in the form of calculations and tests, and in this way, guarantee transport safety.

Investigations of the materials helps to predict the behavior of the material in movement. For this, they are subjected to dynamic simulations and studies for aerodynamics, shock, and rail and carbody stresses. These investigations guarantee the reliability of the CAF product.
