The new CAF high speed platform, Oaris, meets the difficult challenge of rail interoperability. Designed with in house highly reliable technology, it boasts state of the art design, modularity, safety and comfort. Flexible solutions for a closer world in terms of distances, which is also environmentally friendly.
The advances in the optimisation of the aerodynamic shapes, noise and vibrations, contribute to improved energy efficiency and maximum user comfort. Another significant advantage of this platform is the inclusion of specific technology for complete interoperability between tracks with different gauges, signalling systems and electrical power supply. A standout point of CAF’s new high speed solution is the innovative concept where modularity is top priority, providing the trains with high capacity, with over 500 places. The various interiorism solutions include intermediate cares with 2 or 4 doors, an accessible cafeteria with variable length according to requirements, various clearances between seats, as well as a variable luggage area and number of restrooms, related to the number of places on the train.
