With the new CAF regional train models we can make the most of the modernisation work on the infrastructure and the new opportunities that the new track gauge change installations provide. This shall result in a complementarity of the offer of High Speed, reductions in the journey times and a significant increase in the service quality and the frequencies. The CAF regional trains include new advantages for passengers such as improved accessibility for reduced mobility persons, as well as a zone adapted to their needs. There shall also be a multiuse area which shall be adapted to the specific demand (cafeteria on long routes, bicycle area in other cases, vending machines, information points installations...)
