METRO SAO PAULO LINE 5
In 2011, The Government of the State of Sao Paulo gave notice of the purchase of 26 metro units from CAF by Metro de Sao Paulo. These trains each consist of 6 cars to run on the extenson of Lila Line 5 on the city's metropolitan system.
This project is in addition to the seventeen metro units which have already been supplied by CAF which already run on lines 1 and 3 of the Sao Paulo metro, as well as the various contracts to supply suburban units with Compañía Paulista de Trenes Metropolitanos, CPTM.
Deliveries started in 2014.
