JERUSALEM TRAM

CAF is the tram supplier for the new Jerusalem Green Line. These are low-floor trams of the Urbos range. They are bidirectional 5-module units.

Their interior design provides a high level of passenger comfort, with wide aisles free of steps along the entire unit in addition to large windows providing additional light inside the vehicle. Also, to guarantee maximum user accessibility, the tram is equipped with an access ramp and two areas reserved for wheelchairs.

CAF Group's scope for this project includes not only the supply of the new Green Line trams, but also the refurbishment of the existing Red Line trams, the supply of signalling, energy and communication systems, project integration and a 50% stake in the SPV company which will manage operation and maintenance on both lines.
