REGIONAL CIVITY TRAIN FOR AB TRANSITIO

CAF is the supplier of regional trains under the terms of the framework agreement entered into with the company AB Transitio in 2014. The contract comprises the production of 4-car EMUs and 3-car BMUs (bimodal biodiesel-electric units) and a power car.

This train is based on the Civity Nordic platform, designed to provide maximum user comfort incorporating specific solutions to meet Sweden's demanding weather conditions.

The new units are designed and certified for the entire Swedish national rail network. Initially, these new trains will run on the Krösatågen line.
