BILBAO TRAM
In 2002 the city of Bilbao inaugurated its first tram line for which CAF supplied 8 trams. This is a 70% low floor tram for metric gauge, made up of three articulated bodies which rest on two motor trucks at each end, and one carrying truck in the middle. It is bidirectional with two driver cabs and low floor in the access area and in the central car, which facilitates the interior movement and the entry and exit of passengers.
Highlight is that it has been designed for the addition of up to two extra intermediate modules to the basic consist.
