EDINBURGH TRAM

CAF is the supplier of the first tram line opened in the city of Edinburgh. Markedly, this line operates 27 Units of the Urbos 100 tram model. Each Unit consists of seven cars providing the operator with a large passenger carrying capacity.

The tram has 100% low floor across the whole passenger saloon. As a result, the whole tram is free from passenger traffic barriers, with the added benefit that passenger boarding and alighting from / to platforms at a similar level to sidewalks is extremely comfortable.

This first tram line is operated by Edinburgh Trams Ltd and links the centre of the city with the airport ensuring rapid and highly comfortable passenger transport.
