SEVILLE METRO CENTRO

In 2007 Empresa Municipal de Transportes de Sevilla (TUSSAM) awarded CAF the supply of 5 trams for Metrocentro. The trams each consist of 5 modules. This is a low floor LRV (350 mm with respect to the track) along the whole passenger saloon. It is fitted with four priority seat places and another two places for wheelchairs, bicycles and pushchairs, meeting the Accessibility Royal Decree (1544/2007).

In 2011, CAF delivered 4 new trams with the Greentech system: the on-board energy storage system that allows operation on stretches without power lines between stops.

The new contract signed in 2022 for the new units with TUSSAM reaffirms the customer's confidence in CAF.
