Green Line construction, operation and maintenance, as well as the extension, operation and maintenance of the existing Jerusalem Tram Red Line.

CAF Group's scope for this PPP project includes the supply of the new Green Line trams, the refurbishment of the existing Red Line fleet, the supply of signalling, energy and communication systems, project integration and operation and maintenance on both lines.

ROLLING STOCK

  • The supply of 114 low-floor Urbos trams.
  • The refurbishment of 46 trams in the customer’s existing fleet.

Signalling

  • Signalling system: electronic interlocking, axle counters, signals, point machines, point heaters, AVLS, ATP, RRS (Route Request System), DMS (Depot Management System), etc.
  • SCADA.
  • CTC.

Energy and Communications

  • Energy subsystems (including substations and catenary).
  • Communication subsystems

Operation and Maintenance

  • 50% stake in the SPV company which will manage operation and maintenance on both lines.
