THE CAF GROUP TO SUPPLY BELGIUM WITH 161 HYBRID BUSES
The company Opérateur de Transport de Wallonie (OTW), the public transport operator of the Francophone zone in Belgium has selected the CAF Group, through its subsidiary Solaris, to supply 161 Urbino 12 hybrid buses and their maintenance for a term of 8 years. The buses are scheduled to be delivered over the course of 2022, with the contract exceeding a value of €75m.

Alstom to transfer Coradia Polyvalent platform, Reichshoffen site and TALENT 3 platform to CAF
Alstom announced today that it has agreed to divest its Coradia Polyvalent platform, its Reichshoffen production site in France and its TALENT3 platform, currently developed in Hennigsdorf, Germany to CAF.

CAF SIGNS A 107.9 MILLION EUR GREEN GUARANTEE FACILITY FOR THE SUPPLY OF ELECTRIC TRAINS IN FRANCE
CAF, the Spanish multinational leader in the design and implementation of comprehensive mobility systems, has recently entrusted Société Générale to act as fronting and issuing bank of a 107,9 million green guarantee facility to be utilized for the supply of electric trains in the scope of an interurban passenger rail transport project with zero direct emissions.

CAF GROUP AWARDED CONTRACT TO REFURBISH 23 UNITS ON CAIRO METRO LINE 1
The state company NAT (National Authority for Tunnels), which is responsible for managing the Cairo metro, has appointed CAF to refurbish 23 units which currently run on line 1 of the Egyptian capital city’s metro network.

CAF TO TAKE PART IN THE RAIL LIVE CONFERENCE AT THE IFEMA MADRID
The CAF Group will attend the Rail Live fair held at the IFEMA Madrid, from 30 November to 1 December. Rail Live has become the benchmark event and main rendezvous for the entire value chain of the railway sector.

CAF TO SUPPLY LRV UNITS TO THE CANADIAN CITY OF CALGARY
The City of Calgary has selected CAF to supply 28 LRV units which will serve the future Green Line, that will run along a 46 km north-south route across the city.
