Awarding of the contract to supply units for the Santiago de Chile Metro

The Santiago de Chile Metro notified the company Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles CAF of the procurement of 12 trains, each with 9 cars (108 cars), for a total of 144 million US$.

CAF is awarded the Sao Paulo Metro project

The Sao Paulo State Government has reported that the Sao Paulo Metro has procured 26 trains, each with 6 cars, from CAF to run on the extension of Lila Line 5 on the city's metropolitan system.

The Net Turnover at the 31st of March, 2011, is 399,282 thousand euros, i.e. 45,080 thousand euros (13%) more than in March, 2010. Also, the percentage of turnover relating to exportation is 63%.
