SOLARIS IS AWARDED THE SUPPLY OF 52 HYDROGEN BUSES FOR GERMANY, ITS LARGEST CONTRACT TO DATE WITH THIS TECHNOLOGY

The German operator, Rebus Regionalbus Rostock, based in Güstrow and responsible for the management of the public transport service in the region of Rostock in northern Germany, has concluded an agreement with Solaris for the supply of 52 Solaris Urbino hydrogen buses, 5 of which are 18-metre articulated vehicles. This is the largest contract obtained by Solaris to date for hydrogen-powered vehicles, making this contract award a particularly significant event.

RENFE RENEWS TRUST IN CAF AND AWARDS CONTRACT TO SUPPLY 29 COMMUTER TRAINS

RENFE has reported that its Board of Directors has placed an order with CAF for the supply of 29 commuter trains. The contract, which also includes the supply of the relevant depot parts, is worth almost €200 million and includes eventual options to extend its scope in the future, including the manufacture of an additional 9 complete trains, and additional cars that can be used to extend the units in the base contract.

SOLARIS WINS TWO NEW CONTRACTS IN GERMANY AND ITALY

The CAF Group has secured two new bus supply contracts for Aschaffenburg (Germany) and Sardinia (Italy) for hydrogen and hybrid vehicles respectively, with a combined value of over €40M.

CAF SECURES NEW REGIONAL TRAIN CONTRACTS FOR THE REICHSHOFFEN PLANT IN FRANCE

CAF Group has secured contracts to manufacture an additional 18 Coradia Polyvalent platform regional trains totalling €161m.

CAF SECURES TWO TRAM CONTRACTS IN HUNGARY AND SPAIN

The CAF Group has won two new orders to supply Urbos platform trams for a combined value of over €100 million. On the one hand, it will supply 31 units to the operator BKK (Budapesti Közlekedési Központ) in Budapest, and on the other, it will supply 6 trams to the Seville town of Alcalá de Guadaíra.
