CAF awarded 30 suburban trains by RENFE amounting to 233.1 Million Euro (Civia IV)
The contract includes maintenance for all 30 trains for a 14 year period. These units are characteristic for modularity, such that trains of two, three, four, five und up to six cars can be arranged to adjust to passenger demand for the various run sections and timetable requirements. Furthermore, these vehicles are accessible for Persons with Reduced Mobility and being light weight they provide significant energy savings.
