With the intention of integrating Sustainability in the company’s Business management processes, CAF considers Sustainability to be one of the key Strategic Goals, and the company operates a Sustainability Plan which integrates the specific initiatives in this field with a corporation-wide scope and with direct impact on ESG (Environment, Social and Governance), and which has its own dashboard and objectives.


CAF has a Sustainability Policy approved by the Board of Directors where it defines all the commitments it acquires in the field of Sustainability.

The Corporate Governance Model is in line with the corporate social responsibility guide ISO 26000:2012which has resulted in CAF, S.A. achieving positive validation from a third party (LRQA).

Since 2020 CAF, S.A. is a member of the United Nations Global World Compact, the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world, which promotes the implementation of two universal sustainability principles in corporate strategies and operations, as well as the furtherance of actions that work to the advantage of corporate goals, such as the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.
Through this adhesion, CAF undertakes, among other issues, to support and develop the ten principles of the Global Compact regarding Human Rights, Labor Rights, the Environment and the Fight against Corruption.

CAF Group joined the SBTi initiative (Science Based Targets Initiative) and Race to Zero, as part of its carbon neutrality strategy. This action is part of the initiatives of alignment against climate change and with the Paris Agreement, which strengthens the company's commitment to the challenge of climate change.
