Green label technologies
CAF considers the environment to be one of the key aspects regarding sustainability. Accordingly, the company is committed to implementing environmental management systems to minimise the impact of operations on the environment.
By means of the Environmental Management System in place, certified according to standard ISO 14.001:2015, both compliance and effectiveness of adopted measures are checked on a regular basis to guarantee that the goals set out by the organisation are achieved.
CAF S.A.'s Beasain, Irun and Zaragoza sites have implemented and certified the environmental management excellence model, based on the European Regulation EMAS "Eco-Management and Audit Scheme".
The Groups goal is to reduce, reuse and recycle the waste produced from their activities and to this end it works with a circular economy.
