Transfac ‘06 will reveal the latest trends in the automotion, aeronautics and railway industries

INASMET-TECNALIA and TMS are organising the World Transport Summit with more than 500 participants from the most advanced international companies from the sector.

 

The exhibition running at the same time as the Congress will display the latest prototypes and the advances made by Epsilon Euskadi, Mazel and Tramontana, amongst others.

 

The more than 500 participants from transport industries from the most advanced countries and the 300 papers received are proof of the importance of the International TRANSFAC ’06 Congress as an authentic “World Transport Summit” where the latest trends and the most innovative solutions will be on show for the railway, aeronautic and automotion sector.

 

Amongst those invited to the TRANSFAC ’06 Congress which will be held from 4th to 6th October in the Kursaal Congress Hall in Donostia-San Sebastián will be representatives from the European Commission who will disclose the main points of the VII Framework Programme.

 

First class world companies such as CAF, Boeing, Ferrari, ITP, NASA, PSA Citröen, Renault Francia, Toyota Motor Europa and Volkswagen, BMW, Ford, Honda, Siemens, Iberia, Volvo, NASA, EADS, CRF, INFINEON, SENSATA, Fraunhofer Institute, Ascometal, ITP, Sheffield University, SEAT, Ames Research, Colorado School of Mines, Imperial College, GOM Technologies, FEV Motorentechnik, Saint Gobain Sekurit will act as co-organisers and/or will participate with various conferences.

 

The TRANSFAC ‘06 Congress is presented as a unique opportunity to outline the challenges facing the sector with regard to safety, comfort, speed, environmental quality, the lighter weight of materials as well as structures for saving energy, making improvements in services and features for the user and even the management of business innovation. This affects various issues of a technological, economic, commercial and business nature. All of these will determine the evolution of transport, the competitiveness of its industries as well as the demands or requirements of users.

 

The commercial exhibition running at the same time as the Congress will provide an in depth insight into the latest innovations in railway components.
