  • CAF

Seeks to provide the ultimate in comfort for each and every passenger, based on the type of journey Passenger pushing a wheelchair, getting off the train

CAF has everyone's interest at heart, right from the start

In line with this philosophy, accessibility is a key priority right from the initial project stage, in order to ensure that the train service can be used by everyone, without exception. Trains must be designed to be usable, with no special adaptations or modifications, by the differently able.

The cars are designed to meet and even exceed the requirements established in Royal Decree 1544/2007 and other regulations such as the European Union 2008 Technical Specification for Interoperability and Accessibility for persons with reduced mobility. CAF's extensive experience in the development of accessible projects makes it possible to offer the highest standard of quality in this area, guaranteeing:

  • Features to simplify the user's experienceSimple: the transport system can be used by all types of passengers with no need for prior experience.
  • Signage to help facilitate the use of the trainsUser-friendly: all car access doors and devices are perfectly signed for ease-of-use by all types of passengers.
  • Easy-to-understand features for an enhanced travel experienceConvenient: for all types of users regardless of their physical capabilities.
