COMMUTER TRAIN S/8000 CPTM
The awarding of Line 8 Diamante of the São Paulo railway was awarded to CAF in 2010. Under this contract, CAF has supplied CPTM with 36 suburban trains of the 8000 Series. Each unit is made up of 8 cars, offering large passenger capacity on each route.
The trains were manufactured at CAF's plant in Hortolandia, Brazil. The deliveries were made between 2012 and 2013.
