COMMUTER TRAIN EUSKOTREN S/900

Euskotren has renewed part of its fleet of commuter trains with 30 new electric trains. This is a metric gauge unit made up of four cars, two motor and two trailer cars. These new 900 series trains are equipped with state of the art technology to facilitate the comfort and safety of all those using the rail transport services provided on the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country network.

These vehicles also comply with the new accessibility standards. The doors near the PRM areas are equipped with automatic ramps to ensure complete accessibility for persons with reduced mobility. Other measures have also been adopted such as sound warnings for the blind, as well as flashing light signals for people with hearing problems.
