CAF will supply the new LRVs which will run on Boston city's Green Line. This system, managed by Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, will upgrade a significant portion of the fleet of trams running on this line. The ‘Made in USA’ units are manufactured at the plant CAF owns in Elmira, in the state of New York.

As part of the CAF Urbos family, the new units are equipped with state-of-the-art accessibility and safety technology and offers high performance and high passenger comfort, whilst retaining the styling of the previous series.

The new contract, entered into in 2022, is further testament to the customer’s trust placed in CAF. These units consist of 7 modules. They are 100% low-floor and will feature priority areas for passengers with reduced mobility, maximising vehicle accessibility.
