CIVITY RANGE, ADAPTING TO THE CHARACTERISTICS OF EACH MARKET

The flexibility of the Civity family of trains means that they can be precisely adapted to meet each country’s infrastructure requirements, starting from the same basic train.

The standard version uses international gauge, but there is also a Civity version for Russian gauge, making it an optimal solution for the Baltic countries.

CIVITY UK

CAF is concerned about the specific needs of each market. As a result, it has standardised its Civity solution for the UK market. Civity UK has been adapted to the requirements of British railway administration companies, providing the same user comfort as always.

CIVITY XL

This type of Civity train is equipped with extended modules to provide an enhanced passenger capacity.

Energy efficiency is achieved thanks to the optimisation of the energy consumption per passenger.

CIVITY MAX

Civity MAX is a variant from Civity with even a higher passenger capacity. In this case, each car is supported on 2 bogies to withstand the additional passenger and train load.

Sharing the same base concept, the Civity MAX is also modular and keeps the same equipment and flexibility.

CIVITY DUO

Civity Duo is CAF’s doubledeck train that provides a greater number of seats spread over its 2 floors with a contained train length.

Its 2+2 or 2+3 seat configuration considerably increases passenger capacity, making customer operations more efficient and profitable. Furthermore, users can enjoy maximum levels of comfort with spacious seats and good external visibility.

CIVITY NORDIC

Civity Nordic is designed to operate in extreme temperatures. Sharing the same base concept as the standard Civity version, Civity Nordic is all adapted to withstand extremely cold weather conditions (from -40ºC to +40ºC.)
