LUXEMBOURG TRAM

LUXTRAM’s Board of Administrators has awarded CAF to supply 21 trams for the city of Luxembourg. Specifically, it has supplied Urbos trams with on-board energy storage and installed the catenary-free ground-level power supply system (GPLS) as well as the required SCADA control and electrification infrastructure.

This project includes removing the overhead power supply system between the Red Bridge and Luxembourg Central Station.

Rolling stock

  • The Supply of 21 Urbos Trams.

CIVIL WORKS

  • The construction of a new maintenance depot.
  • The construction of 8 km of track and 4km of catenary-free track. 15 stops and 7 GPLS stops.
